Zilla taken for a quick tour round the Prison, then Mark gets on with the important tasks of the day: Haggis Slices are cooked in the traditional manner, and off we go - Buckie beckons.
Mark helmed, and Geoff photographed - lots. The sailing was excellent, and the sun shone, and we made our way at a sedate pace towards Buckie
Approaches to Buckie
We had been told that there were at least 135 large bottlenose dolphins in the area - they were hiding: we tried calling them, but to no avail.

Clearly a fishing port, not really catering for the Leisure Industry as yet!
After a short night, we set off for Lossiemouth - only 10 miles away so we dediced to sail out into the middle of the Moray Firth in search of Dolphins. Not a chance - lovely sailing conditions, but not a dolphin to be seen.
Mark insisted it was warm enough to wear shorts. I'm not convinced!
We arrived in Lossiemouth in 18kts of breeze - quite a small entrance, guarded by large stone breakwaters and found a berth. No harbour master at the weekends, so you check in at the pub. Had a quick livener, and then set off on a walk with Zilla along the absolutely beautiful sand dunes that line the shore there.
Guess Who?
Monday was a day of rest - or it would have been if we hadn't gone on a 5 mile walk along the beach to the lighthouse.
Our visitors left in the early afternoon, leaving me with Camera Envy:
